Inspired by a moment of disorientation, “Gio, Where Are You?” translates onto paper both the fascination with the majestic, dark infrastructure of Westminster Station and the claustrophobia that comes with it. The fusion of architectural elements unfolds through the varying textures of materials such as steel, concrete, and glass, guiding the viewer through the compositional structure in search of light — and of Gio, the lost friend.

Born in 1988, Marco Venturini is an Italian artist who has always balanced his passion between visual arts and music. After graduating in modern guitar and playing in several bands over the years, his urge to draw led him to attend drawing and painting courses with renowned Milanese artists. He is now exploring different subjects, techniques, and formats, cultivating his distinct voice in both art and music.
