Multidimensional Space

Multidimensional Space by Li Xinmo, Acrylic on canvas, 2024

Selected for the 2025 London Art Biennale, China. Acrylic on canvas, 2024. 100x100cm.

I combine landscape fragments from different perspectives and with different elements through geometric shapes. There are both photographic – realistic parts and abstract geometric compositions. This expression technique blurs the boundary between reality and imagination, enabling the audience to recognize the elements of the landscape while placing them in a surreal situation. It breaks away from the traditional painting’s imitation of the objective world.
