Bente Tømmerås

I am an Oslo-based artist. My style is expressive and the paintings may remind you of surreal landscapes with half-figurative to abstract forms. My process is intuitive with a focus on variation of strokes and colour. Most important for me is to let my mind be in the present and allow my work be totally spontaneous in execution. I work to create an open space for further association, so the viewer can create his own world in the pictures.
