The World Without Us
Selected for the 2025 London Art Biennale, United States of America. Cold porcelain & polymer clay, 2021. 35x33x15cm.
Sculpted over hundreds of hours, “The World Without Us” evokes a feeling of defiance in the face of certain hardship and despair, and reminds us there’s things worth fighting for. It’s made from a combination of cold porcelain, polymer clay, epoxy clay, raw pigment, and acrylics.
I’m a self-taught sculptor who learned through trial & error, moving clay around until it stops looking wrong. I have consistently drawn on the natural world and its inhabitants for inspiration in my creative outlets and continue to find nature the most fascinating subject. I live in Nashville, TN and am passionate about animal welfare, the environment, art, & politics.
