Sculpted from interwoven iron wire, the figure leans into his performance, bow raised, coat flaring as though stirred by invisible wind. Sergey Shvetsov is a Canadian self-taught sculptor born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. His work explores the tension between movement, sound, and form, using wire to capture human expression. Through intricate layering and precise structure, he creates figures that seem suspended in motion, radiating rhythm and intensity. Inspired by music, memory, and transformation. His work has been exhibited at The Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2024 and is held in private collections internationally, reflecting a growing recognition of his distinctive voice and craftsmanship.
