The work “Exaltation” was written on the basis of the masterpiece of world classical music “Chaconne” by J.S.Bach (arrangement of F.Busoni). I painted this picture at the time when I played this Bach composition myself. I was inspired by the expressive power of this music, its warmth and exalted culminations. Therefore, I used a large number of red, orange and pink sounds in the work. This work as a whole personifies for me a certain “red dot”, an existential state, a moment that happens in the life of each person only once, which changes everything, and remains in the memory for a lifetime. I wanted to depict what makes a person go beyond the limits of his usual capabilities. And this will either change and elevate him, or destroy him…
