This work was inspired by an extraordinary abandoned factory I visited after an art residency at Villa Lena. To bring the work to life, I included texture and narrative by incorporating scraps of paper, fading fabric, and dust collected from the factory floor. These elements merge with a scene I photographed in the sewing room, featuring colourful cotton reels.
