This work is part of a series in which a woman metaphorically confronts a skull. The relationship between them transcends the physical, entering an emotional and existential realm. A chromatic resemblance between skin and bone strengthens their symbolic connection. The skull, more than an inert object, becomes a projection of the woman’s unconscious: a reflection of fear, mortality, or a fragmented version of herself that she struggles to recognize but feels as part of her. Its quiet closeness suggests a confrontation that is both internal and inevitable.
I studied Visual Arts at university and have dedicated myself to painting and drawing, teaching both disciplines. My focus has been the human figure, especially portraiture. Over the years, I have refined my technique to depict a precise image. Thanks to technology, especially Midjourney, I create compositions that combine my ideas and experience, resulting in personal and authentic scenes and portraits.
