ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΟΣ ΛΙΜΠΑΝΤΟΥΔΗΣ (Evangelos Limpantoudis)

Drawn in ink across four journal spreads, this work began as a series of quiet studies – faces, moments, passing thoughts – each evolving into reflections of the artist’s emotional state on a given day. Later scanned and digitally composed, these fragments were reassembled into a continuous dreamscape, cinematic and unsettling. The title, Dream of the Missing Child, alludes to a haunting fear and emotional ambiguity – loss, longing, absence. The presence of Akira Kurosawa, woven subtly into the work, reinforces its narrative structure and evokes a sense of memory unfolding in shadow.

Evangelos Limpantoudis is an artist and architect from Thessaloniki, Greece, living and working between New York City and his hometown. He holds a Master of Architecture from MIT and a BA in Fine Arts from Hobart College. His work explores memory, narrative, and spatial psychology through drawing and design. Blending analog and digital media, his pieces often emerge from intimate processes, echoing emotional states and cinematic influences.
