Dance of Love
Selected for the 2025 London Art Biennale, United States of America. Mixed media on canvas, 2025. 121.92×182.88cm.
Dance of Love began its romantic and ever-changing journey in 2013 and led to a catharsis in 2025. The piece could initially appear to be a romanticized image of two lovers, but its essence is the dance of love from within. Because it is only when we surrender and heal from our past that true love becomes available. We always receive in relation to who we are at any moment in time. My obsession with the human form on a scientific, anatomical and subcutaneous level shows vividly in Dance of Love. The fluidity of the bodies, minds and spirit connect, such that one can’t see where one heart begins and the other ends. The forms are overflowing with secret elements of nature and poetry by Rumi, adding yet another layer of curiosity and depth.
