Like living organisms, “Mutations” continually reinvents itself, inviting us to find beauty and meaning in change.Through a profound exploration of materiality, this sculpture, thanks to its polished, helical shape, returns mutated reflections of reality.The circular form and infinite cycles present in these works become powerful metaphors for life and renewal. It invites us to rethink our relationship with the environment and find new ways to coexist in harmony with nature. This sculpture challenges us to question our perceptions and find beauty in the inherent instability of existence.

Originally from Chile and now residing in Berlin, Alejandro Urrutia works with the synergies between architectural and sculptural principles. His practice aims to materialize physical phenomena such as gravity, resistance, and the exchange of forces taking shape in sculptural objects representing Balance and Equilibrium. Concepts observed in Nature in the dialectic between movement and harmony, through natural cycles and physical forces in equilibrium.
