Alejandro Borges

It is based on the notion of cross-relationships between Architecture, Art and Biology. It is part of a research project which envisions the future of Architecture as a true living organism capable of transforming, adapting, and re-generating itself through programmed operations. Technology has penetrated all aspects of contemporary society. Today’s Liquid Society, allows for the intersections of class, race, age, sexuality, disability, gender and unprecedented mobility to manifest on many aspects of culture. This represents a complex challenge to architectural theory and practice. Architecture in the future is going to be able to combine digital technologies and biological organisms to bridge the existing gaps.

He has participated in many solo and collective exhibitions and fine arts biennials in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, DFW, Maryland, London, Zurich, Barcelona, Brazil and Caracas among others.
