London Art Biennale – 5th Edition Awards

The selection process will narrow down the applications to approximately 300 artists that will be exhibited in the 5th edition of the London Art Biennale taking place in 2021. The artists chosen to be part of the exhibition will be awarded the prizes below. No artist can receive more than one award and no prize will be awarded to more than one artist

2. Gagliardi Gallery Award

25 artists to be selected for a 10-day exhibition at Gagliardi Gallery, King’s Road, London

Gagliardi Gallery, founded 40 years ago on the icon King’s Road in Chelsea, is one of the oldest art galleries in London. 25 artists will be selected from the London Art Biennale for an exhibition that will take place in 2022. The gallery will invite its prestigious clientele to the opening/exhibition and the artist’s only responsibility will be to transport their artwork


3. Art Museum of Chianciano Terme Award

25 artists to be selected for month-long group show at the Chianciano Art Museum, Italy

The Museum of Art of Chianciano hosts a series of collections ranging from Neolithic and Asiatic to Contemporary art. There are approximately a thousand works on display. 25 artists will be selected from the London Art Biennale for an exhibition that will take place in the summer of 2022. A museum exhibition is the perfect way to advance an artis’s career. The artist’s only responsibility will be to transport their artwork


4. City of Art Award

25 artists to be selected for a month-long group show in the art galleries that surround the 12th Century Piazza of Chianciano Terme, Tuscany, Italy

There are over ten galleries in the stunning Medieval square of Chianciano, Tuscany, Italy. 25 artists will be selected for a month-long group show in the summer of 2022 in the art galleries that surround the 12th Century Piazza of Chianciano Terme.

Located near Siena and Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany, there are over 150 hotels in the town that create an international and dynamic atmosphere. The artist’s only responsibility will be to transport their artwork


5. International Confederation of Art Critics Award

5 artists will be selected by the International Confederation of Art Critics for an official critical analysis about their work


6. Arts Club Chianciano Award

5 artists will be selected for a week-long art retreat in Tuscany

Artists will have a suite, that can be shared with a guest, at the Art Club Boutique Hotel in Tuscany, Italy and will have their own studio space in which to create art during their stay. Flights and connections excluded. Date: June 2022
