Chapter 4 | Reminiscence is part of an interactive series named ‘Double Exposure’. The drawing is brought to life in an animated video with sound. The concept was to create a synesthetic artwork, so the viewer can hear the thoughts of the portraits in the drawing. In creating the video animation, I explored working with AI tools. The music is created by Alexandru Suciu. The artwork is about shifting moods, overwhelming thoughts and feelings, multiple personalities: different instances that we find ourselves in. It’s about the struggle to stand still, to focalize. The moods depicted in the drawing represent a journal of emotions, the visual counterparts of words written in a diary.
