Three Faces of Majesty

Three Faces of Majesty by Pyatnova Alina, Oil on canvas, 2025

Selected for the 2025 London Art Biennale, Ukraine. Oil on canvas, 2025. 50x70cm.

Three Faces of MajestyThis painting is a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, portrayed through three symbolic forms. As a young queen, she radiates grace and strength, emerging from a cascade of lilies of the valley—her favourite flower. Opposite stands the Queen in later life, reflecting on a life of unwavering duty and dignity. Above, a butterfly symbolizes her soul, free and eternal. The composition is a meditation on time, transformation, and remembrance—honouring a legacy that transcends life, and a spirit that continues to inspire.
