Scything is a dynamic sculpture, transient by nature, a vision of a form that is travelling, shifting and reforming as it passes through time on a never ending journey with no destination.

I am a self-taught sculptor working predominantly in bronze and stainless steel from my West Sussex studio. As a teenager I succumbed to pneumococcal meningitis and sepsis. This devastating illness and subsequent life experience was to create me, the artist and sculptor I am today. Leaving me with questions about my own identity, mortality and spirituality and the substance of soul. During this traumatic time I found a sense of peace and harmony in the beauty of the natural world. Through the natural world and sculpture I have found my faith, verse and scripture, arriving at a plane where I increasingly explore the fleeting, ephemeral nature of life, spirituality and the fundamental importance of beauty to humanity

My work can be found as part private and public collections globally, most notably as part of the Canary Wharf art estate.
