My work takes inspiration from the Dutch Old Masters, reinterpreting their timeless elegance through a contemporary lens. I focus on traditional Still Life subjects, primarily food, flowers, and fruit, and shift their perception into the modern day. This blending of classical and contemporary approaches feels deeply satisfying. It allows me to present artworks that are not only technically and artistically engaging, but also visually appealing and easy to live with. I aim for each piece to resonate with viewers on multiple levels: intellectually, emotionally, and decoratively.
