Brian Ach

“Look Who’s Calling” is a series by photographer and artist Brian Ach that explores the shifting boundary between fact and fiction in an age where truth is constantly questioned. Using his own archive of portraits, Brian layers text and digital elements to reconstruct a phone call lost to history—imagined, hypothetical, or perhaps real. Rooted in factual dialogue and rich visual detail, each piece evokes the feel of a museum relic, inviting reflection on what we believe to be true, and why.

Brian Ach holds a BFA from Miami University and an MFA from Florida State University. His work blends an extensive career in photography with contemporary digital techniques to create quietly bold, and at times humorous, reflections on humanity, truth, and reality. Through digital media, Brian explores the tension between the observed and the imagined, crafting visual narratives that are both thoughtful and provocative.
