“The bleu citta” is an art piece that took about 300 hours to create. It first came into fruition as a vision of three suns, which represent gravity, space, and time. This project was created as an experiment of letting the subconscious build the main structures of the art piece. However, it was also made with a very conscious technique, which was done with an array of calligraphy dip pens to create the main pattern, which I call “The music sheet of the infinite.” This pattern, which covers the majority of the piece, was done to recreate the structure of trabecular bone.

Abdias Abdiel is a self-taught surrealist artist who gathers inspiration from his connection to the patterns of nature and his surroundings. He uses calligraphy ink and tools to bring his visions of other worlds into existence.
