I studied Fine Art in Melbourne, Australia, and have been painting and exhibiting landscapes for over 30 years. I have won awards both locally and overseas, and this year, have exhibited in Canberra, New York and Bologna.
My paintings are dominated by the sky in which I find my spiritual as well as my artistic inspiration, and the contrasting vistas of the sea and the outback are central to my creative vision. I work with a limited palette range and the main focus of my work is centred on atmospheric effects. The extreme weather conditions experienced with climate change remain a significant and ongoing theme, and through my visual interpretations, I seek to create awareness of the fragility and beauty of the landscape in my paintings.
